Its always humbling to know people notice my weddings. Specially the Indian and South Asian ones! The amount of work that goes into making one happen is simply astounding. The color, the detail, the amount of time… all of it.
When Groom Sold Separately asked me to feature Akata & Avaneesh’s wedding last year, I jumped at the chance to share this beautiful wedding with everyone. Little did I know that it would be picked as their viewers choice (and eventually win) for their blog. Needless to say, I was excited.
Now imagine my excitement a few weeks ago when one of the lovely ladies at Indian Wedding Site emailed me wanting to feature the wedding on their site! Not only would I be sharing this wedding with everyone again… but I’d be sharing it with the South Asian community. Double win!
So yesterday was the day. It was featured. To my surprise, the feature was a 4 part feature spanning the whole day on their blog. Its awesome, its amazing, and I’m humbled yet again. Through the course of the day, I was posting about it on my Facebook Fan Page but wanted to wait and post all 4 parts here on the blog once the dust had settled! So now, here it is…
