About a month ago, I was sitting at my desk editing when I noticed a single email in my spam box. Those emails usually get filtered and I rarely see them, but there was a (1) next to the box that night, which I found odd.
So naturally, I had to look!
To my surprise, it was an email from one of the gals at Groom Sold Separately asking me if I’d like to have one of my Indian weddings featured with them. Never been one to have any of my weddings featured – I’ve never submitted one to *be* featured, so that might have something to do with it- I gladly accepted… after I emailed my bride & groom and told them about the news. I wanted to make sure they knew what was happening because the blog was going to email them and ask them questions about their wedding, also.
So a couple of weeks back on 2 consecutive wednesdays, Akata & Avaneesh’s Wedding (Part 1 & Part 2) was featured on Groom Sold Separately’s blog.
I wanted to personally thank the ladies at GSS for even noticing my blog, much less wanting me to be featured on their blog. Its an honor and I’m glad that I could share this awesome wedding with all of your readers!
