So lately, Kami has been absolutely fascinated by puzzles. Thao bought him a set of four 12 piece puzzles while they were out shopping one day and he hasn’t stopped putting them together. Repeatedly. So for Christmas, we asked santa to get him puzzles… which he did. So its been a week, and from the time he gets up in the morning to the second he goes to sleep at night, he’s putting the original four puzzles, and the additional few he’s gotten for Christmas together non stop. So tonight at dinner while he was doing his thing, I picked up the camera and snapped a few pictures of him in action.
Another thing he got for Christmas was a couple of training chopsticks. Let me first say, I had *no* idea such thing even existed… but then again, things like the slap chop and the snuggie are out there, so I’m not surprised in the slightest. So tonight, we stuck those in his hands with a bowl of raisins in front of him to get him to be in touch with his inner asian! Not only did he hold them and pick the raisins up right, but he ate a whole bowl of them and asked for more! afterward, his reward was (of course) ice cream!
I hate to be that parent to say my kid’s smart, my kid’s cute and so on… but I will. Because he is!

Casey, I’m sure he’d gladly teach you by handing over his other pair of training ones like he did tonight at dinner to our friends daughter.
