Back at the end of last year I started looking to redo my website. I’ve had a flash based website on a different address, this blog on this address, and I just felt potential clients had to go back and forth trying to find each site and it wasn’t exactly efficient. I also didn’t want to just buy a random template from a website maker and make it look like everyone else’s site. One thing I was sure of though was I wanted my friend Clint Davis to design my new brand. He had already done my Shoot My Chef branding for me.
After talking to him about ideas and what he thought, he got to designing the new logo and identity for me. Next was the site. After the initial hurdle of “I don’t want a template”, the search for a designer started. There are quite a few custom website designers out there, but one really stuck out for me. I’d seen a few of their website examples and was a huge fan of their work already. So in January I contacted Flosites for our initial consultation. After our talk we set a date of April to start the website design. Little did I know how intense designing a whole new site from scratch would be. The timeframe of 2-4 months I was given seemed long at the time, but I trusted they knew what they were doing and went with it.
So now, 5 months after design started, I’m proud to finally be making the move for everything on my website to www.sassaniphotography.com. This blog has served me well for and will be staying up, but this will be the last official post on here. I won’t delete this site, I won’t move it, its just going to sit here and serve as a reminder of where I came from. Be sure to check out the new site and let me know what you think.
I appreciate everyone thats been supportive of my move, my past clients, and my future clients. Thanks again and see you guys on the new site!
